Skills and Qualifications
- Understanding the basic principles of modern relational DBMS.
- Excellent knowledge and extensive experience working with SQL.
- Ability to identify bottlenecks and optimize database performance.
- Skills in implementing backup strategies, disaster recovery planning, and data replication.
- Ability to write Python scripts for automation and administration tasks.
- Understanding of network infrastructure.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Good knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve database issues and failures.
- Ability to read and understand technical literature in English.

Responsibilities
- Database design and modeling.
- Optimization of database queries and performance tuning to minimize latency.
- Data backup and recovery.
- Ensuring security through the implementation of access control tools, encryption, and monitoring.
- Compiling and updating documentation on database architecture, processes, and any changes made.
